Different Health recognizes the sensitivity of the information we process, including health-related data and other personal information. We implement strict administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to ensure that your data is protected against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

Different Health publishes an email covering clinical learnings, new research, and Different Health perspectives. Signing up is optional and is never a condition of using the Website or booking an assessment.

The legal basis for collecting the address is consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)) together with the ePrivacy Directive Article 13 requirement of prior consent for marketing email. You give that consent by submitting the newsletter form (Join the list) or by checking the optional newsletter box on account signup or on an assessment or booking form. That box is unchecked unless you select it, and checking it is not required to create an account, book, or send the form. The form and the box say you can unsubscribe anytime. We do not send a confirmation email from this signup.

When you subscribe we store your email address, the source of the signup (an article page), the time, the exact wording you were shown, a hashed IP address, browser user agent, and country when the network provides it. Different Health, Inc. (101 Leonard St, #PhB, New York, NY 10010) is the controller. hello@differenthealth.com owns newsletter operations. Addresses live in our subscriber database. This form does not send mail.

You can withdraw at any time by writing to hello@differenthealth.com. After you ask to be removed we stop using the address for the newsletter. We keep the consent and withdrawal record only as long as needed to show that we honored your choice and to meet legal retention duties, then delete it. You also have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, and objection, and the right to complain to a supervisory authority.
